The Teflon liner is bonded to the inner race surface and slides against the ball spherical surface and the Teflon liner surface.

The Teflon liner has self-lubricating properties, so lubricants such as grease are unnecessary.

Therefore, it is effective for use in places that do not tolerate oil or where lubrication is difficult or impossible.

Additionally, since it does not require a lubrication mechanism, it is effective in reducing maintenance costs.

The Teflon type spherical is suitable for use under low-speed oscillation.

It also exhibits relatively good performance under vibration loads. Thus, when the metal type experiences excessive friction, seizing, or fatigue failure, or when fretting at the sliding surfaces becomes a problem, replacing it with the Teflon type is an effective measure.
